Chromium Ore

In Ingassana hills Chromite occurs frequently as veins
lenses and pods. Most of the mining of the chrome ore now in Ingassana hills
The available percentage of the Sudan Chrome ( Cr2O3 ) its
from 26% up to 54%.
The Ministry of energy and mining has been paying increasing attention to the
development of the manufacturing and mining sector and one of priority
projects in this sector is the development of chromium ore and ferrochrome
industry (smelting plant)
